CWEA LABS Virtual Presentation; Vitrified Clay Pipe Corrosion

Check out this Training opportunity:  LABS Section of CWEA is Hosting this Training.

We are excited to reengage with our members at our first virtual presentation. Please join us as we learn how the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) dealt with a severe and unprecedented corrosion problem in some of their larger diameter vitrified clay pipe sewers. Bryan Vansell, General Manager for Mission Clay Products, will also be available for questions and answers.

LACSD is a public agency focused on converting waste into resources like recycled water, energy and recycled materials. The agency consists of 24 independent special districts serving about 5.6 million people in Los Angeles County. Mr. Westergaard oversees the CCTV inspection and condition assessment program for the agency’s 1,400-mile wastewater collection system.
